so I just stopped typing since Shane was on his way downstairs. We watched the end of American Gangster. We are so old that it took us three nights to watch it!!
We've all had a touch of the crud so that is part of it. We went to bed by 9:30 last night.
Mom has a surgery date finally. June 24th. And we will be having Aunt Martha, Uncle David, Heather, Jay, Taylor and Rex for the 4th of July. I am excited. Next Friday, Vonnie and Calvin and maybe the girls will be coming for the weekend. So now just to hope that all the jet skis are ready to go!!! Jake only has 2 weeks of school left. I cannot believe we are at the end of the first year! He seems so grown up to me! He is really into games. We taught him to play battleship last night and he is reading fairly well. He does more sight recognition than soudning things out but if no one will come help him right away, he will try to work out a word on his own. Callie is a singer. She makes up sones and melodies and sings them to everyone. All day long. It is pretty awesome.
Well, no more blogging. The natives are restless and want some waffles...
